This public gallery features works by emerging and established artists from the Atlantic region. Visitors can view a selection of paintings, photography and fine arts craft.
This gallery was launched by Fredericton's Heritage & Cultural Affairs Division. It was established to support the development of arts and culture in the city. Locals and visitors are invited to view the exhibits, all located on the first floor of City Hall. Admission is completely free.
The University of New Brunswick's collection is primarily held in the UNB Art Centre, although much of it scattered across campus. The UNB features new exhibitions every month.
This gallery is a gift to New Brunswick from one of its more famous sons, Lord Beaverbrook. Inside are a multitude of collections, including works by Canadian, British and European artists. Art by Salvador Dali, The Group of Seven, Emily Carr and Jean-Paul Riopelle are on permanent display. Besides paintings, the Beaverbrook Gallery features sculptures, tapestries, fine craft and furniture items.
