Comprising over 400km (250mi) of roadway, this scenic drive follows the majestic St. John River from Edmunston south to Saint John. Stops along the way include Grand Falls Gorge, Hartland Covered Bridge National Historic Site, Mactaquac Provincial Park and the Beaverbrook Art Gallery in Fredericton.
The Fredericton-Moncton Highway was opened on October 23, 2001 and represents the largest highway construction project in the history of New Brunswick. The four lane highway took four years to complete and stretches 195 km from the City of Fredericton to the City of Moncton.
