This downtown library contains a vast selection of books, tapes and CDs. Fredericton Public Library system also has an entirely francophone library - Bibliothèque Dr Marguerite-Michaud- and works with the public school system at various locations.
Located on the fifth floor of the Harriet Irving Library, the UNB Archives and Special Collections department features an extensive collection of periodicals, books, institutional records and private papers. A range of research tools and reprographic services are offered.
Harriet Irving Library is located on the University of Fredericton campus and houses historical documents and pictures. Also featured are a large number of collections, including the Rufus Hathaway Collection of Canadian Literature, the Beaverbrook Collection and tapestries by Dr. Ivan Crowell.
