Wilmot United Church was built in 1852. It is the sole remaining large wooden church in Fredericton, and seats around 800; its interior is largely hand-carved. Recognized as a National Historic Site, this cathedral was built in 1845. It was modeled after a medieval parish in Snettisham, England, and contains examples of skilled woodworking and fine woodworks and stained glass.
