    Fredericton

Fredericton was made the provincial capital of New Brunswick in 1785.
This city of 47,000 is known today for its architecture, culture and heritage. Throughout the city you can see the work of various potters, pewtersmiths, weavers and quilters.
Take a walk along The Green on the St John River. Visit the Loyalist Cemetery and Provincial Legislative Building. Take in a play at Theatre New Brunswick.
Fredericton is home to the New Brunswick Highland Games and Scottish Festival every July. In the fall is the Fredericton Exibition, Atlantic Canada's largest, and the Harvest Jazz and Blues Festival.
37km west of town is Kings Landing Historical Settlement a re-creation of a typical area village of the 19th century.
